  Abstract. Given a finite set in integers, and consider the associated sum set and product set. What can we say about the size of the sum set or product set ?
  
  It turns out this problem is not only a difficult problem but also has many important applications to various problems. In this talk, we will review the history of this famous problem and discuss our progress for a weaker version of Erdos-Szemeredi sum-product conjecture.
