摘要內容:
Abstract. Compressive/Compressed Sensing/Sampling (abbreviated as CS), a kind of new paradigm for simultaneous sampling and compression, has attracted considerable attention recently in diverse fields, including signal processing and information theory. Without being restricted to the constraint of Nyquist rate, compressive sensing can, in theory, perfectly reconstruct the original signal under the constraints that if only a few samples or measurements extracted from an original signal are available and the signal is sparse in the time/space or transform (such as DCT, wavelet, and so on) domain.
In fact, the study of CS is very hot abroad but it is only in its infant status in Taiwan. In this talk, I will briefly introduce CS, including descriptions of its main properties, optimal sensing matrix design, and sparse signal recovery algorithms. The sparse signals can be 1D, 2D, and 3D.
Speaker
Chun-Shien Lu (呂俊賢) received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Cheng-Kung University in 1998. From October 1998 to July 2002, he joined Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, as a postdoctoral fellow for his military service. From August 2002 to July 2006, he was an assistant research fellow at the same institute. From July 2006 to March 2013, he was an associate research fellow. Since March 2013, Dr. Lu has been promoted as a full research fellow. His current research interests mainly focus on algorithms and applications of compressed sensing and sparse representation, and various topics (including signal processing and security) of multimedia.
Dr. Lu serves as a Technical Committee member of Multimedia Systems and Applications Technical Committee, IEEE Circuits and Systems Society since 2007. From 2012, he also serves as a Technical Committee member of Communications and Information Systems Security (CIS-TC), IEEE Communications Society. Dr. Lu serves as Area Chairs of ICASSP 2012, ICASSP 2013, and ICIP 2013. Dr. Lu won Ta-You Wu Memorial Award, National Science Council in 2007 and was a co-recipient of a National Invention and Creation Award in 2004. Dr. Lu is currently an associate editor of IEEE Trans. on Image Processing.相關檔案:Talk_1021126.doc
