Course Introduction

《Physics》
  • Prerequisite:high school mathematics, high school physics
  • Recommended for: freshmen
  • Introduction:

This course offers the general concepts and principles in physics. The main objectives of this course are to motivate students to explore the beauty of physics in various disciplines, and to train students the physics problem-solving ability.

  • Syllabus:
  1. The pedagogical elements of this course in this upcoming semester may contain the following topics:
  2. 1. Mechanics – linear and angular kinematics and dynamics, momentums and mechanical energies, fluid mechanics.
  3. 2. Oscillations and Mechanical Waves – oscillatory motion, wave motion, properties of waves.
  4. 3. Thermodynamics – Heat and Laws of thermodynamics, Kinetic theory of Gases.
