【Forward】2014 Spring (102B) Online Course Selections Starts ( 2014-01-07 )

1. Fill in the “Questionnaire on Response to Teaching” for 2013 Fall semester (102A)
Time: December 25 ,2013 ~ January 12 ,2014
After you fill in, please refresh the page in order to start the course selection
2. Please check course timetable before you start the course selection.
3. 1st stage of primary course registration
Time: Jan 7, 2014 9:00 ~ Jan 9, 2014 24:00
Processing items: add and drop of general courses, enter preference options for elective courses, enter preference options for courses with a size limitation
Computer shutdown time: The computer will shut down at 24:00, on January 9, 2014. The computer will perform random registration distribution of elective courses and courses with a size limit.
Result Verification: Please ”confirm courses status” and “query course status” on the online course registration system beginning from Jan 10, 2014.
Priorities of course selection:
(1) Elective courses or courses with a size limit: Priorities will be decided upon students’ seniorities. The remaining openings are then randomly distributed among students of the same year.
(2) All course schedules clearly state students of certain year and department hold the highest priority. The remaining openings are then randomly distributed among students of the same year.
(3) Certain courses are only open to online registration for students of a particular department. Students studying for a minor or double-major degree please fill out the “Online course add and drop application form”
(4) Degree program courses are set according to the regulations of each degree program. Non-degree program students also must obey these regulations.
(5) If graduate courses are open to junior and senior students. Freshmen and sophomore students are not qualified to take these courses. Disqualified students have no rights to object to any automatic dismissal from the class list.
4. 2nd stage of primary course registration
Time: Jan 14, 2014 9:00 ~ Jan 16, 2014 24:00
Processing items: add and drop of general courses, enter preference options of elective courses, enter preference options of courses with a size limit.
Computer shutdown time: The computer will shut down at 24:00 on Jan 16, 2014 . The computer will perform random distribution of elective courses and courses with a size limit.
Result Verification: Please “confirm courses status” and “query course status” on the online course registration system beginning from Jan 17, 2014.
5. Add and drop after school starts (two weeks after school starts)
Time: 17 - 27 Feb 2014 (Time: 9:00 ~ 24:00)
Processing items: add and drop of general courses, enter priority options of elective courses, enter priority options of courses with a size limit.
Computer shutdown time: The computer will randomly distribute the remaining openings of elective courses and courses with size limit from 00:01 am to 08:59 am every day during the time of course selection.
Result Verification: Please “confirm courses status” and “query course status” on the online course selection system before Feb 27. The online result decides a student’s status of course registration.
6. Online course registration status confirmation (Please DO CONFIRM!!!)
Please “confirm courses status” and “query course status” on the online course registration system to make sure all courses selected are correct before the course registration deadline (Feb 27).
7. Notes
(1) Preference options of elective courses:
Elective courses include general courses, second language, military training (nursing), physical education, basic physics, and calculus for undergraduate students. Please consult registration regulations for every stage of course registration before proceeding with the actual registration. (For example, only freshmen are allowed to enroll during the first stage. Other students are not able to enroll online.) Students may list course preference options online. Listing of preferences does not stand for successful registration. Registration results are produced after course registration ends and are determined by the random distribution of the computer.
(2) Mandatory Courses are not added automatically into your course timbale for Master and Doctoral students. Please do remember to select them by yourself online.
