Abstract:
Introduce the programming of real-world quantum computer DWAVE, the quantum theories behind it and the comparison to our day-to-day classical computer programming. Glance over the content of a quantum computing course. Propose possible ways to share QUBIT resources as to whether general purpose OS and meta-machine can be improved. Summarize hardware approaches to build superconducting quantum computer and other potential methods. Describe how quantum computer works together with classical computer. Explain why it is important to have quantum computer in the areas of information encryption / national security, new drug discovery, genomics, stock forecast, quantum artificial intelligence and quantum robotics. Sketch the impact to industry behavior and the new opportunities to our young generation for the up-coming quantum information world.Download:Talk_1031230.doc
