  In this min-course we will cover the following topics.
  【a】Introduction to q-series and q-calculus
  (1) The Gauss Binomial Coefficients and the q-noncommutative binomial theorem;
  (2) The finite form of the Jacobi triple product identity;
  (3) The q-binomial theorem of Cauchy and Rothe;
  (4) The Ramanujan summation;
  (5) Sums of squares;
  (6) The basic hypergeometric series;
  (7) q-derivative and a general expansion for q-series.
  【b】 Introduction to Jacobi theta functions
  (1) Jacobi triple product identity;
  (2) Jacobi theta functions and Ramanujan differential equations;
  (3) The complex theory of elliptic function;
  (4) theta function identities.
